- We are currently 97% finished a massive tea-chest care box for Careflight which seems to have taken forever to fill. Plus 98% finished the smaller care box for NSW Ambulance Lake Cargelligo.
- We also have a full box to go to these wonderful Ambulance officers to distribute to families who are destitute. We also have one box to continue with for a very special family of 4 there who are under dire consequences.
- We are also in the middle of packing more Careflight sets as requested (we hope the crew are not trying them on for size!). These will go out with the Care Box separately.
- Plus we are in the middle of doing the NSW Ambulance sets to send over to them with more toys for trauma kids (Orange NSW).
- We then have a small secret squirrel care box to do for a very wonderful supporter who has helped us so much that we wouldn't be able to operate without them.
- We also have 50 full baby packs to do for Careflight NSW lol, I think we may have to start charging them $1 for every time we mention them in all our media, Facebook, website and Twitter. Or they will have to adopt us as their #1 groupies like they have with us.
- Soon we will have an ABN and I will post on the website what tax entitlements you can get by helping us as I have no idea. We are not sure if financial donations are tax deductible etc depending on the ATO and what catagory we come under.
- Please do NOT send donations for the refuge until after July 1, 2014 as they currently have too much because......we sort of spoiled them rotten. But it all will be used.
- We will add a list to our site on "What we need" as to other things we need a lot of all year round. Because people know we always help others and can be trusted 1000%, we often get off the cuff requests by ambulance officers etc to help very special families whose houses have burned down, a family member needing items in hospital because of an accident etc. So I just make up some hygiene and hair care toiletry bags etc to help them out. I buy them out of my pension because it's something our charity doesn't officially do nor do regularly. However, they are items that can easily be sent to firemen if fires break out in rural areas etc. All multi use.
- We will also be looking for baby garments in earthy Autumn colours; Aboriginal colours of black, yellow and red post June 2014 for our Darwin deliveries.
- We are also looking for more full plain white, full mauve, purple, peach / apricot coloured baby garments as well so we can complete sets.
