However, we will be needing Aboriginal print fabric by the many metres soon for making smocks for our Arnhem Land hospital at Nhulumbuy for our small, medium, large preemies. Plus some little dresses as well for the newborns; pants and shirts for the baby boys and things like bibs, nappies and other items.
We are planning to use the fabric also for another project for hygiene bags.
If businesses would like to donate any, we would absolutely love it please!
We are currently making smocks with fabric donated by M&S Textiles Australia who generously donated almost 40 metres last year.
We will show you the end result very soon!
The more colourful the better! We also use it to make comfort blankets for tiny preemies to hold so Mum can take a break.
Here is a BRILLIANT store for Aboriginal fabric if you would like to donate some or make smocks yourself for us. They MUST have fleece or flannelette on the inside.
Or you can make large drawstring bags for hygiene bags out of it for us.
They are 40 x 40xm
