- None of our packs will be going into Goulburn Hospital NSW, however, we will be looking more towards Northern NSW hospitals and clinics to send them to where they will be appreciated.
- Our 100 x sets for Careflight and 105 sets for NSW Ambulance are steaming ahead towards being completed as is our care boxes for them.
- Donations to Dubbo Refuge have finished until July 1 when these gorgeous ladies find out if they have won the tender again or not.
- We will be looking for ambulance and Careflight sets all year round.
- We require baby garments and blankets (all sizes) in green and white (grass or forest green) for our new Irish themed packs; also in various browns, olive greens and Autumn colours. Aboriginal (black / yellow / red); peaches and apricots; mauves and purples.
- We have decided to make up emergency bags throughout the year to give to families in extreme emergencies such as fires, floods and earthquakes. To date we have given away about 10 to people desperately in need. We also have some to go to Lake Cargelligo to families in need. These consist of toothbrushes, toothpaste, comb, brush, talcum powder, soap, face washer, shampoo and conditioner, razors, shave gel, pocket packs of tissues and a hygiene bag. They are given to services to distribute to those in dire need as care packs.
- We still need hundreds of soft toys for trauma kids and babies.
- We are looking for sponsors or donors for our care packs for various services, especially coffee, tea, Stevia sugar, healthy snacks and health food bars, cereals in individual packets, quick meals and low fat and sugar items for the recipients to munch on. Recipients include ambulance and fire officers, Careflight crews etc.
