The hour long interview went very well and 7 packs of baby items were displayed for photos to show people all the items we generally have in them for our babies.
The article will be in the newspaper and online very soon and I will publish the release as soon as I know when.
Yesterday was also the release of our very first Nurses Care Package.
A 2 ft high tea-chest box by 1metre square.
It contained over 100 newborn nappies, two boxes of tea, two large jars of coffee, packets of muesli bars, lollies, and boxes galore of chocolates for our wonderful nurses at Dubbo Base Hospital Maternity & Special Needs Nursery to share.
The contents were partly gifted by Cid Dare (WA) and most of it plus freight by me (Maree). It weighed about 20kgs and cost around $230 for all the items.
The next nurses care package will go out in the next few weeks to Broken Hill; plus 7 baby packs and care package to Urana. We are currently a bit behind due to registration paperwork and I also had another minor stroke last week.
We actually didn't need publicity as we are highly successful, plus I prefer to work in the background and do the work than be in the media all the time and achieve nothing. However, Emma politely requested an interview, and The Land is the most perfect newspaper for publicity for our project. I have valued that newspaper for many years due to the fact that I have lived on the land for many years with my family.
